A bit about moi

Raised in the desert of Tucson, Arizona, I was the first true American in my South African family. I'm a modern comedienne, with a knack for comedic timing, fast-paced witty dialogue, and imitating accents.
ACTING
I originated the role of Andie Chastain in the Off-Broadway world premiere of Honky, a New York Times Critics’ Pick directed by Luke Harlan (The Gilded Age). Other NYC credits include New World Stages (opposite Patricia Richardson), 4th Street Theatre, Classic Stage Company, Second Stage Theater, and readings of dozens of new plays and musicals, including Jason Robert Brown’s Honeymoon in Vegas. On screen, I starred in the indie feature A Spiritual Retreat (in post-production) and appear in Jerusalem ’67, directed by Oded Raz. My voiceover work spans English-language dubbing for live-action and animation—including Netflix’s The Penthouse and Escobank—commercials, corporate content, and cultural narration.
COMMERCIAL
With more than 400 projects under my belt, my credits include national U.S. TV campaigns for Mixtiles and Easyplant, a global monday.com campaign with over 41 million YouTube views, and a wide range of UGC and social campaigns. Somewhere along the way, colleagues dubbed me “The Commercial Queen of Israel”—less a self-appointed crown than a reflection of the volume and variety of my work. I've also hosted international corporate events and award ceremonies, presented for Mobileye at CES in Las Vegas, and appeared in over 100 videos as Lucky Lauren, the YouTube host of a top-25 mobile casino game, alongside appearances by Arsenio Hall and Ty Pennington.
TRAINING
I hold an MFA in Acting from Columbia University, where I trained with Kristin Linklater, Andrei Serban, and Anne Bogart, and a BA in Theatre Arts from USC, where I studied musical theatre with Jason Robert Brown and Shakespeare with Barry Edelstein. Additional training includes Anson Mount, Bob Krakower, commedia dell’arte in Italy, the British American Drama Academy in Oxford, Northwestern’s Cherubs, and NYU’s CAP21.
COACHING AND MORE
I’m working toward designation as a Linklater Voice teacher under Andrea Haring, carrying forward an approach that is central to my work as an artist: freeing the natural voice. My audition coaching draws on years as a trusted reader for NYC casting directors, including Marci Phillips (ABC), Alaine Alldaffer (Playwrights Horizons), and Calleri Jensen Davis Casting. My extensive understanding of creating a high budget TV series comes from working on Netflix's Hit and Run, where I assisted lead actor Lior Raz with his dialect and script-work, and shadowed the director/producer team. I also teach acting workshops for stage and screen, plus “acting the song” for musical theatre performers.
FUN FACTS
I've written a feature film and several shorts, and I geek out over dramaturgy, script editing, Sorkin-esque dialogue, and everything Sondheim. I have an affinity for miniatures, a fascination with ancestry stories, and would have made a great detective in another life. I live by the "chocolate before bed" rule.
I’m always excited to collaborate with playwrights, filmmakers, producers, brands, and creative teams on work that’s hilarious, exciting, smart, and important.

“Danielle Faitelson gives a standout performance as a chatterbox who lacks the filters most people have to prevent them from blurting out inappropriate things.”— The New York Times
